Welcome to ISA2027

Dear colleagues and friends of Artemisia research,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2nd International Symposium on Artemisia (ISA2027), to be held from September 6 to 8, 2027, at the Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain.

The first edition, held in Arusha, Tanzania in October 2025, brought together 140 researchers and practitioners from 29 countries. ISA2027 builds on this momentum, hosted in the Canary Islands - a natural crossroads between Europe, Africa and the Americas.

The scientific programme will be organised around four core pillars: Human Health, Animal Health, Environmental Health, and Field Practice and Figures. Accepted papers will be published in Acta Horticulturae.
